Maximising the liveable area through clever space planning and exterior extensions in a protected monument.
An open plan layout connecting two floors create a true loft feeling. To keep budgets workable, the kitchen is designed around existing equipment and furniture is a mix of vintage, DIY and contemporary pieces. Embracing parts of the present structure and pro-loved charm of worn wooden floors and ceilings, then combining it with modern elements shape a timeless Wabi-Sabi style.

Breathing new life into former stables in the German country side and bringing them up to modern living standards.
This two story family home will not only honour the existing structure but make it a feature. Old beams and brick walls characterise the interior spaces. Natural and timeless materials blend into a harmonious whole. Curious details hint to the buildings past use and make it a truly unique place to live.
