Maximising the liveable area through clever space planning and exterior extensions in a protected monument.

An open plan layout connecting two floors create a true loft feeling. To keep budgets workable, the kitchen is designed around existing equipment and furniture is a mix of vintage, DIY and contemporary pieces. Embracing parts of the present structure and pro-loved charm of worn wooden floors and ceilings, then combining it with modern elements shape a timeless Wabi-Sabi style.

Rejuvenating a large 1960s house and balancing the era's glamour with the comforts of modern-day living standards.

The traditionally small kitchen and dining area were enlarged and connected with the living room to maximise space and enhance flow and interaction between areas.
Custom designed cabinets and display shelves showcase the owner's artifacts and heirlooms.
A cohesive color and material palette creates a unified and aesthetically pleasing environment.
